ArtWorks Team move home
New Home, New Town - Same ArtWorks
This week saw the move from our well established home and base in Penygraig to the Factory venue in Porth. The team spent the days shifting boxes, packing photos and memories ready to move base.
We left the tears and tissues in Penygraig and then quickly found ourselves hosting the National Theatre of Wales and Massive Theatre Company all the way from New Zeland. Talk about hitting our new home hard.
It felt a bit like a holiday the first week figuring out where the light switch was, how the phones worked and most importantly where the heating switch lived.
So now with John the venue manager and a few other residents we are happily settled in and it already feels like home. More space for us to spread our wings and we're more centrally located to get to deliver out work in Penyrenglyn, Rhydyfelin, Dinas and Penygraig.
We still operate an open door policy so if anyone wants to pop in and see our new home feel free - the biscuits and tea came with us in the move too :-)
