Tom Returns from Prison – in Milan!!!
Due to a long- standing relationship with Theatr Fforwm Cymru - Youth Arts Worker Tom Stupple from the ArtWorks team was invited to attend a international training project in Milan.
The project, part of Grundtvig 2 and the Drums for Peace Network involved sharing best practice and working in prison in Milan. Artist, practitioners, and facilitators from various art forms and 8 different countries met in Milan to plan and deliver creative work in Milan central prison.
Tom described the work as very challenging but also a huge learning experience - “Going to work in prison and meeting so many different people has changed me and given me so much to think about – I know I’ll be learning from this experience for years to come.”
