Zoom Festival
Zoom Young Peoples Film Festival.
During the month of March, Zoom Cymru is always busy preparing and delivering a week long project of the Zoom Young Peoples Film Festival. This year, ArtWorks, and Valleys Kids were able to offer support and were hosts for the final event of the weeklong festival.
On March 11th, the awards ceremony was held at Soar, and was a complete sell out, as young people from all over Rhondda Cynon Taff came to the centre, and took to the red carpet and cameras. The event was streamed live by S4C, and was featured on one of their programmes. The evening was filled with young people and their families, who came to celebrate some extraordinary work created by many schools that participated in the festival. The winners of each category were presented with their award and had their short film shown to the audience. The evening was finally celebrated with a drinks reception and buffet, and was a great success to all those who were involved.
