Leaving a gift to Valleys Kids is a unique way to mark your life and demonstrate your enduring commitment to ending child poverty.
Valleys Kids has been preventing child poverty since 1977 and our community based projects support and encourage disadvantaged children across the Rhondda Valleys.
Leaving a legacy gift is not a decision that can be made lightly and without due consideration but if you do choose to leave a gift to Valleys Kids in your Will, not only will you be helping to fund our vital projects, you will also be supporting our vision to end child poverty and make the Valleys a happier more stable place for future generations of children.

If you have already included a donation to Valleys Kids in your Will, thank you for your gift. Your donation will help to ensure Valleys Kids can continue making a difference to the lives of some of the South Wales's most deprived children.
If you haven't already informed us of your gift, it would be greatly appreciated if you could complete the simple pledge form to let us know about your donation. Although we won't know when we will receive this gift (and we hope it won't be for a long time!), knowing that our supporters are continuing to help us in this special way will enable us to plan for the future with greater confidence. It will also mean that we can say a further thank you for your wonderful support and provide any additional information or assistance you may require.
The work of Valleys Kids touches many lives in many different ways. It is a force for positive change. A gift in your Will costs nothing now, but gives you the satisfaction of knowing that your commitment will enable crucial work helping children and families in the Valleys of South Wales to continue in the future.
The following are some of the ways you can leave a gift in your will:
- Residuary legacy - represents the remainder or a percentage of your estate after all other bequests and expenses have been deducted. A residuary legacy also keeps pace with inflation.
- Pecuniary legacy - this is a gift of a specified amount of money, for example £5,000. However inflation can reduce the value of this gift.
- Specific legacy - this is the gift of a specific item such as property, jewellery or other valuables
